7.2.3.1 The Commander's Federation

Write down the federation the commander will be included within on the simulated battle turn sheet. If this federation is shot at or attacked during the battle then there is a chance that the commander will die (see 7.2.10., p86).

Notes:

If the commander is not allocated a federation number (see 7.2.3.4., p72) then they will not take part in the battle and your army will lose moral (see 7.2.9.4., p86) before the battle begins.
